The latest track from artist and producer Tiiva is the glittering single, ‘To Get Better’. It’s a colourful track driven forward by unique synth sounds that form an uber-modern accompaniment to her reverb-soaked lead vocal. “I wrote this over lockdown (I know but wait). There was a lot of fast cry-walking around Peckham, wine-soaked lockdown poems, and a couple of blurry house party’s (no Boris- just the app),” she explains, candidly. “Over this time, I started to discover a community of people who, for all the best reasons, changed everything.” Her reflective lyricism and leftfield production choices ring true of the likes of some of her biggest influences, like FKA twigs and Charli XCX. -Dan Peeke
